MO's World of Art

Mo (b. 1944, Aruba) has dedicated more than four decades to painting, music, and performance. His distinctive mystical decorative style blends Caribbean traditions with the influences of Suriname, Brazil, and the Netherlands, where he lived and worked. Mo’s art has been shown in national collections, international festivals, and countless exhibitions across the region.

Beyond the canvas, Mo has been active as a musician, actor, and cultural collaborator, shaping creative communities and mentoring younger generations. His motto — “Divine as usual” — captures the spirit of an artist for whom art and life are inseparable.
